A Home Information Pack (HIP) is a compulsory requirement for a seller of a residential property in England and Wales. Whilst we at Engleharts are yet to be convinced of their value, we are clear it is a service which our clients will benefit from by having it handled through us. You will receive our same high level of service in explaining the process and guiding you through it. Engleharts have created our own HIP system which may be used by clients and also by third parties that request, and for security reasons are authorised to use it. With its own dedicated website the system is fully automated and can be operated without any paper thereby effectively achieving the Government’s aim of making life “greener”.

Our HIP Service

When a client instructs us to prepare a HIP, the property is entered onto our HIP website. The property is given an ID number and a password. The information needed for the HIP is then added to the website and can be accessed by entering hip.engleharts.co.uk. This leads directly into the Engleharts’ HIP system and by entering the property ID and password the details of the property are displayed. Each item is entered separately and can be either viewed or downloaded individually or as a whole. This enables a considerable degree of flexibility for the user.
