Practice founded by David Englehart in two rooms at 18 Blatchington Road, Hove.

The Practice expands onto the second floor. This then becomes David Englehart’s main office from which he worked for nearly 27 years

Peter Harris joins the Practice and the firm continues to expand, eventually taking over the whole building.

16 Blatchington Road purchased and joined to number 18 to create extra offices.

Redmond Nari joins the firm as a Partner.

This year saw further expansion. Colin Nowlan joined bringing many years’ litigation experience. In addition the Practice introduced an in-house executive dealing solely with Wills, Trusts and Probates.

Angela Englehart joins the firm as a business consultant to provide a comprehensive service as office manageress.

Josie Flint joined as a conveyancer. Engleharts was now able to provide a comprehensive all-round service for the private client, together with David’s focus and experience in commercial and commercial property matters.

This year saw further substantial growth. The expanding Litigation team moved into 27 Blatchington Road, which enabled growth of the non-contentious private client/commercial team at numbers 16 and 18.

Kent Reynolds, a litigation solicitor, joined to take on a number of complex and high profile cases.

Rachel Gerber, a solicitor trained at top London firm, Herbert Smith, joined.

Engleharts purchased Vallance Hall, the Old Post Office sorting office in Hove, to provide an expanded office for clients and staff alike.

After a tailored high spec refurbishment everybody moved from numbers 16, 18 and 27 Blatchington Road into the main building at Vallance Hall.

Pat Richards, a solicitor of many years experience joined the Practice as Engleharts looked to bring in new members to strengthen and expand the existing departments.
