Duha’s sensitive and friendly nature, coupled with her legal expertise, is why many clients feel at ease with her during what can, for some, be an extremely difficult time in their lives. Her ability to empathise whilst explaining and applying the law means that clients are able to entrust her with personal and sensitive matters.
Duha is a law graduate from Queen Mary College, University of London and subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law. She was admitted as a solicitor in 2004.
Duha trained at a top Legal 500 firm in Watford, Hertfordshire and this, along with time spent at other firms across Watford, provided her with a strong grounding in family and private client work. On relocating to the South Coast, Duha joined Engleharts at the start of 2017 and specialises in Private Client work, including Lasting Powers of Attorney, Wills and Probate, Court of Protection Deputyship Applications, Declarations of Trust and Change of Name Deeds.
She has also been able to make use of her fluent Arabic skills to interpret for clients across other departments.
Outside work, Duha keeps herself busy with her family, including her three children who like to keep her on her toes! Her hobbies include baking and, when she finds the time, keeping fit.
