Julia is a New Zealander who has lived and worked in the UK for the past 10 years. Prior to coming to the UK Julia had a career in personnel management to include performance management of large teams and training for an international airline, this experience cultivated her organisational skills and imperative to achieve the best results with the resources in hand. Julia transferred her personal and professional skills as she transitioned into a legal career and has spent the last decade studying and working in law. Julia gained a double major in Psychology and Sociology for her undergraduate studies; followed by post graduate research in Psychology at the University of Auckland. Julia commenced her LLB in New Zealand but went on to conclude her study of law in the UK and in 2018 qualified to practise as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Julia specialises in residential and commercial property, with particular focus on new developments, Julia’s case load is diverse. She acts both for developers and purchasers on new build transactions to include advice on development schemes, legal packs and plot sales, sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold owner occupier properties, re-mortgages, lease extensions and transfers of equity. A high proportion of Julia’s workload consists of acting for a developer who is publicly listed. Julia welcomes hearing from potential new clients and will offer an informal initial conversation, free of charge, in order to see if she can be of assistance. For continuity of service Julia will offer various private client services to her existing property clients to include: wills, powers of attorney and declarations of trust.
Outside work Julia enjoys reading, arts, music, travel, fitness and is an avid supporter of the All Blacks.
