David has been a qualified Solicitor for more than 50 years. The importance of property generally to the economy of the UK has always fascinated him, especially the way that property is used as collateral security for various business transactions, which itself has enabled very many small business people to start up in a business which they would not otherwise have been able to afford to do.
David acts for a number of property investment clients and is aware of the importance to these clients of their tenants.
David also acts for numerous tenants of commercial property and will always recommend that if they have financial problems or other issues they should talk to their landlords rather than ignore the situation and hope it goes away.
David is also fascinated with the diversity that we have in this country, and in particular the close-knit family values prevalent in those business formed by people coming to the UK and establishing themselves through sheer hard work.
David devotes his spare time to being with his wife, Angela, who also manages the practice. At weekends he spends many hours reading and being with his two French Mastiffs. He has still not quite worked out why “it is a dog’s life,” as from what he can see they have it made.
